In NSW, it’s illegal to drive a car with a rear bike rack installed and no bike on it.

You should remove or reposition the bicycle rack when not inuse so that it is not a hazard to other vehicles and pedestrians.

不用就必须要拆
以前被警察pull off 不过没罚款因为bike number plate还在上面口头教育下次不敢了

安慰安慰你，因为我没有遇到过。但是，较真这种事，花钱少麻烦。

M4收费通车后，17年11月，我之前嫌弃贵，一直没用过。从BW去Hills区，刚被刷了Etoll，限速90，我开的81-83吧，占最右车道，左前方150米左右有车正常行驶并离我远去，我周围没有任何车辆，毕竟第一次上，不熟悉。
结果后面，在左前方车辆消失到一个小方块的时候，我大概处于去Ryde的出口前面（未到出口）四周还是没有车辆，警车速度倍儿快闪灯嘟嘟后，被pull over，说我占用超车道，如果有紧急车辆通过的话，我会影响交通，我当时时速82-83，罚款270，扣2分。
到现在心里都是一个梗，愿人骂醒。
